YMCA Southgate Classic 3v3 Basketball

(June / 4th grade - adult)

This is Missoula’s largest 3v3 basketball tournament. In prior years we have hosted more than 227 teams. MOA officials await competitors in 23 separate divisions (4th grade through adult). The Special Events Competition follows regularly scheduled Saturday night games.

The final date for registration is June 14 at 10 p.m. Entry fees will be refunded based on need or for inclement weather (fee policy below). A complete list of rules and a confirmation letter will be mailed to the team captain. To pick up your packet, your confirmation letter needs to be presented by a member of your team. Packet info will include time of first game. (All games will be played at the southern end of Southgate Mall in the JCPenney parking lots.) Please pick up your team T-shirts at the info center on June 19.

$80 through high school / $100 for Adult Rec & Open, per team. Register Today!

Team Division Info

• Open Adult is a competitive division for top players.

• Recreation Adult is for players who are just out to have fun.

• Grades 4 – 12 will be placed in brackets based on the oldest player’s grade in the 2010 – 2011 school year.

AAU Cardholders

Athletes who hold AB-AAU cards are covered by insurance under Amateur Athletic Union terms.

Free Throw Contest

Please enter by noon on Saturday, June 19 at the information table. The contest will be held at the conclusion of Saturday’s competition.

Officials

All courts will be governed by certified MOA officials.

Inclement Weather

If poor weather conditions merit cancellation of the tournament, players/teams will be issued half of their registration fee along with an event T-shirt for each player.

Awards

At the conclusion of the championship game, please come to the information center where division-specific awards will be issued to the top two teams per category. Please check the master bracket display for a complete list.
