Youth Development Director

Notes: The Director Youth Development is responsible for the delivery and quality of various youth development camp activities such as Day Camp, Kinderkubs, School’s Out Day Camp, Active 6, Climbing Wall, Youth Center Activities, etc. This director should have a deep passion for youth, a high level of energy, and strong leadership skill. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with little to no supervision.
Marketing and Grant Writing Assistant
Hiring Manager: Heather Foster
Notes: The Marketing and Grant Writing Assistant will act as the key point of support to the Leadership team and the CEO in all matters of marketing, grant writing assistance and administrative support. Research, writing and reporting of grants is an essential function of the operation at the YMCA. Marketing coordination and distribution is also a key job responsibility. This individual should have the ability to work collaboratively as well as be self-driven and task-oriented. This position has the potential to grow with the organization into a financial development role. This individual must thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works independently with very limited supervision to manage demands of the position and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Part-time Preschool Cook

Notes: Responsible for the daily preparation of breakfast and lunch for medium sized preschool. Must have basic knowledge of safe food handling and preparation. Willing to train.
Youth Sports Coordinator

Notes: The Youth Sports Coordinator coordinates daily operations of the YMCA Youth Sports programming and assists with the performance of its leagues. This position facilitates some of the largest programs at the YMCA, and is directly responsible for dealing with thousands of participants, volunteers, and members. This position is very visible with direct impact on the reputation of the Missoula Family YMCA. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with very little supervision.

Notes: The Childcare Center Teacher is responsible for organizing and leading daily activities of pre-kindergarten children. Oversees the program curriculum and environment providing a high quality, developmentally appropriate experience to meet the needs of the children and families in the program. Day Camp Counselor

Notes: The Camp Counselor is responsible for leading their individual summer camp group. Camp staff provide adventure, cooperative planning, social adjustment, improvement of health, fun and Y values– caring, honesty, respect & responsibility. Each camp staff is responsible for the health and safety of all program participants and the development and upkeep of one or more activity areas. Notes: Providing quality swim instruction to participants of all ages and Lifeguarding for Aquatic Programs. Hours vary, may get 5-30 hours/ week. Possible long term position beyond summer season depending on staffing needs and employee’s schedule of availability.
