Youth Development Director

Notes: The Director Youth Development is responsible for the delivery and quality of various youth development camp activities such as Day Camp, Kinderkubs, School’s Out Day Camp, Active 6, Climbing Wall, Youth Center Activities, etc. This director should have a deep passion for youth, a high level of energy, and strong leadership skill. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with little to no supervision.

Notes: The Childcare Center Teacher is responsible for organizing and leading daily activities of pre-kindergarten children. Oversees the program curriculum and environment providing a high quality, developmentally appropriate experience to meet the needs of the children and families in the program. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with limited supervision.
Day Camp Counselor
Hiring Manager: Lindsay Pilon
Notes: The Camp Counselor is responsible for leading their individual summer camp group. Camp staff provide adventure, cooperative planning, social adjustment, improvement of health, fun and Y values– caring, honesty, respect & responsibility. Each camp staff is responsible for the health and safety of all program participants and the development and upkeep of one or more activity areas. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with very little supervision.
Hiring Manager: Rose Kahane
Notes: Providing quality swim instruction to participants of all ages and Lifeguarding for Aquatic Programs. Hours vary, may get 5-30 hours/ week. Possible long term position beyond summer season depending on staffing needs and employee’s schedule of availability.
