Our promise to our community is that no person will be turned away due to inability to pay.

The Missoula Family YMCA can make this extraordinary promise because we have hundreds of dedicated volunteer fundraisers and generous donors who ensure that any person who wants to pursue a healthy lifestyle can access the programs and services we provide. In fact, in 2008 we gave out $418,000 in direct financial assistance to ensure that YMCA programs and memberships were accessible for everyone.

Our recent 2009 Partners With Youth Campaign raised more than $217,397—exceeding our goal of $204,000 by $13,000. This member-to-member fundraising effort provides financial assistance for youth from low-income families to participate in YMCA value-based programs such as summer camp, youth sports and swimming lessons. This campaign also funds youth and family memberships, before and after school care and YMusic.
