Our Vision

The Missoula Family YMCA is recognized as a leader in providing programs that help people develop healthy lifestyles, support families and provide youth with the opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential. In addition, the YMCA educates and encourages our extended YMCA family to form partnerships that develop solutions to challenges in our community. Through our work and example, the YMCA encourages all members of the community to actively take part in building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

Our Mission

The Missoula Family YMCA is dedicated to building healthy spirit, mind and body for each person it serves. Through programs based on Christian principles, the YMCA helps strengthen families and build a better community. The Missoula Family YMCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our Values

Since its start more than 150 years ago, the YMCA of the USA has been developing a core set of values for all YMCAs to follow: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. The Missoula Family YMCA is committed to incorporating these values in all our programs. Through the efforts of our dedicated staff, members, donors and volunteers, we hope to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve. Most importantly, we believe these values are the key to helping address many of the social and economic problems our community faces today.
