YMCA, We build strong kids, strong families, strong communities

n an extraordinary show of support for the work of the YMCA and for kids and families in our community, members and friends of the YMCA contributed over $186,000 to the YMCA’s annual Partners with Youth Campaign.

All members of our community deserve the opportunity to belong to the YMCA and so we make a promise -a promise that no one will be turned away due to inability to pay. This extraordinary promise reflects a commitment by the YMCA that all who wish to participate have that opportunity, regardless of their income. We believe that by participating in YMCA programs and membership, we clarify values in our children; help to strengthen families and provide opportunities to gather together; encourage healthier lifestyles; and foster a greater understanding amongst our community as people from all walks of life come together in fellowship and for a common purpose.

Hundreds of donors made generous contributions to the campaign, ensuring that no one is turned away due to inability to pay and we thank you for your generous contribution. Volunteers spent four weeks campaigning and telling the YMCA story to our community. Because of their energy and commitment, the Partners with Youth Campaign was a success. To all who volunteered their time and energy to campaign on our behalf, we say thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you, and we look forward to working with you again next year. You all are the best!
