Youth Basketball League

Grades 2–3

Our recreational youth basketball league teaches players basketball fundamentals and game skills in a positive team environment. All teams are coached by volunteer coaches. Discounts are available for active Y members. All skill levels welcome!

Our 2023 Youth Basketball League for grades 2-3 is now over. Check back Fall 2024 for dates and registration!

At a Glance:

• Smaller courts with 8-foot hoops and junior-size balls
• Practices are held once a week at neighborhood schools and the Y
• Games are held Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons at neighborhood schools and the Y
• Jersey is included with registration fee
• All teams are coached by volunteers. Parent involvement is highly encouraged. Click here to learn more about volunteer coaching.
• Divisions are separated by gender
• Discounts are available for active Y members

Program Dates & Registration:

• Registration: Through October 16
  • $74 ($54 with Y membership)
• Late Registration: Begins October 15

*Team placement is on a first-come, first-served basis and not guaranteed during Late Registration. In-person registration only once teams have been built.
