Grade School Challenge
Grades K–5
The YMCA Riverbank Run Grade School Challenge is a friendly competition among local elementary schools. The school with the most racers is awarded the Riverbank Run's travelling trophy.

Race Start Times:
- 10K & Trifecta 10K: 9:00 a.m.
- Dennis T. Bender 5K & Trifecta 5K: 10:30 a.m.
- (Trifecta Mile: 11:30 a.m.)
- 1 Mile Fun Run: 11:45 a.m.
Packet Pickup:
- Check back Spring 2027
Cost:
- Ages 0–12: $15* (includes shirt)
*1 Mile, 5K, or 10K registration only. Trifecta pricing may vary
Riverbank Run Grade School Challenge FAQs
Anyone in grades K–5 is welcome to represent their school! You'll be prompted during sign up to list your child's elementary school.
Yes. Families are welcomed and encouraged to run with their children. Anyone on the race course must be registered with a race bib.
