Camp Imagination and Camp Horizon are where school meets camp! Prevent summer learning loss through curriculum-based camp activities and daily adventures. In these licensed camps, your camper will participate in STEM activities, play group games, meet guest speakers, and more. Let us show you how fun summer can be! Camp Imagination and Camp Horizon are offered in month-long increments.

Registration is required. Best Beginnings scholarships accepted. Financial assistance is available. Applications for the 2026 camp season will be available mid-February.

At a Glance:

• Camp activities and programming run 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Camp Horizon at Hellgate Elementary offers care Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
  • Camp Imagination at Russell Elementary offers care Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided each day

2026 Monthly Tuition:

Camp Imagination and Camp Horizon are monthly programs. Registration is required. Monthly rates are based on the number of program days offered each month. Fees are subject to change annually.

• One-time supply fee $55 ($75 for families enrolling 2+ children)

The Missoula Family YMCA is committed to Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) standards in all of its childcare programs. Breakfast and lunch are provided through MCPS’s Summer Meal Program and the Missoula Food Bank. A nutritious afternoon snack is provided through our participation in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
