Girls Who Code

See yourself as a computer scientist! Girls and non-binary teens can join a safe and supportive environment of peers and role models. Learn the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis of all programming languages. Work in teams to complete a computer science impact project that solves a real-world problem in our community.

Teens will develop skills important for social cohesion and critical thinking, preparing them to communicate with people from different backgrounds and participate in productive dialogue around immigration and other social justice issues. This ten-week program will culminate in a youth designed service project for the Missoula community.

Our Spring 2022 club runs April 20–June 8. Participants meet Wednesdays from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
