The Plan
- Double our capacity to serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and consolidate onsite preschool and infant programs into one building
- Continue to support Missoula’s growing workforce
- Continue to offer top-of-the-line education programs that nurture social-emotional development and ensure kindergarten-readiness for all students
- Offer spaces that include ADA compliance, breastfeeding rooms, and physical/occupational therapy rooms
- Create inclusive, diverse, and safe spaces that support and meet the needs of Missoula families and seniors
- Build healthy foundations for hard-to-reach kids through a Youth Innovation Center to house the Y's STEAM and other out-of-school-time programming so kids can actively create, make and learn
- Create intergenerational gathering and co-working spaces to serve as a year-round community hub
- Update locker rooms to accommodate diverse community and family needs
- Serve more Missoulians with new fitness class space and enhanced health & wellness offerings
- Expand drop-in child care so busy families can rely on the help they need to make their health a priority
- Build an outdoor fitness space for classes to operate outside the traditional studio setting
